Trixie, Pixie, and Ripple have waited a very long time to find their forever home. It’s sometimes quiet difficult to place three birds in one home, but very necessary when they are bonded. Congratulations to these three and the McGeary Boys!!
Buddy has officially found his forever home. Buddy has had a long journey here at the rescue, but we couldn’t be more pleased to announce that he has found a family of his own. Buddy is a typical too. He can be extremely loud and attached to one person. He is now in a home where he is the only bird in the house and he is loving every minute of it. Congratulations to Buddy and the Arhndt family!
Peach has been adopted! This sweet Goffins Too was surrendered to CWA from a loving home that couldn’t prevent Peach from self mutilation. When we took Peach in, his mutilation was extreme and he underwent emergency surgery at Parish Creek with Board Certified Avian Vet, Dr. Echols. After several therapies and follow ups , Peach stop mutilating. The Young family were his fosters and were with Peach during this entire rehabilitation process. We are extremely happy to announce that they have chosen to adopt him. Congratulations Peach!!!

Duley has been adopted by the Cook family. This sweet old English Budgie was surrendered by a lady selling some parrot cages. He had a rough start in the rescue because of his age, but under close eye and vet care, he regained strength. His foster family decided that they didn’t want to chance another move for this little guy and they had fallen in love so they chose to adopt. What a perfect beginning for him. Congratulations !!!
Bob been adopted by Heidi and her family. Bob was surrendered to CWA only a short time ago by a lady who could no longer care for her due to health problems. Sometimes CWA has birds in Foster care for a year or more and other times once they are cleared by our vets and out of quarantine, their fosters or waiting approved adopters, adopt right away. Bob was only a rescue bird for a short time and we could not be more thrilled for her new beginning. Congratulations!!!!!

Our very own Cassinova has finally found his forever home with Diana! We could not be more proud to make this announcement. Nova was surrendered to CWA with the name of “Bird.” He was the only cockatoo that we have ever rescued without any powder in his feathers. Cockatoos are powdered birds, and Nova was stripped of his ability to produce his natural powder, due to living in a filthy environment. Nova was completely covered in grease and his feathers were a yellow – brown color upon rescue. His diet used to consist of mainly cheese and seeds. Nova loves his pellets and chop now. Thankfully , CWA works with some of the best board certified avian vets in the world, and with amazing support from wonderful organizations who support our cause. ” Bird” was quickly given the name Nova for his loving nature. Nova has waited almost a year to be completely rehabilitated and find a forever home, and he finally has the perfect family to call his own. Congratulations Nova !!!! We love you buddy
CWA could not be more thrilled to make this announcement. Titan has officially been adopted. When we received the call to rescue both Titan and Minnie from out of state, we sprung into action. It took literally a small village to make this rescue happen. Titan and Minnie both came to the rescue very loving and hormonal. Thankfully, Rebecca and her family found CWA through references. After they passed the application process and a home check ,it was absolutely fate. Titan is so spoiled and loved. You may have seen Titan the Amazing at the local Stoc Doc Veterinarian Clinic where he welcomes all the patients and visitors. Congratulations Rebecca and family. We wish you the best in all your future endeavors.
