Molly is an approximately 14 year old Umbrella Cockatoo. The family she came from couldn’t give her the time and attention she needs. She has shown a preference for men, but shes letting her foster mom give her scratches. She is already on a pelleted diet, but needs work on her veggies. She has tested negative for PBFD, Polyoma and Chlamydia.

This little lovebird is Momma. She is not tame but doesn’t seem to be afraid of people. She came to us on a seed diet, so we will be working on diet as well and getting her use to people. Her vet results are pending.

This is Isaac and Ishmael. These 2 guys are caged together. Isaac is scared of people and not tame at all. Ishmael is hand tame and will step up. They are on a pelleted diet and will continue to work on adding more fresh fruit and veggies. Their test results are pending.

This is Rosie the Green Cheek Amazon (aka Mexican Red-Headed Amazon). Not sure on the sex but we think female. She came from a very loving home where the owner wasn’t able take care of her anymore. We will be working on diet and getting her use to different people. Rosie prefers men to women. She tested negative for Polyoma, Chlamydia and PBFD.

Blue is missing part of her wing but doesn’t slow her down getting around the cage. Their vet results are negative.

Available for Adoption

Tera and Janeca are a bonded pair of beautiful Blue Front Amazons. They are both somewhat hand tame and will need some additional work. They have been transitioned to pellets and tested negative for chlamydia, PBFD, and Polyoma. Because they are a bonded pair they will need to stay together and it is also against CWA’s agreement to breed our rescues so measures will need to be taken to discourage breeding behaviors.

Squeakers is a 3 yr old male Alexandrine Parakeet.  When he came to us, he was missing many feathers from plucking and self mutilation.  With the guidance and many toys from Dawn at Rescued Feathered Angels, his foster mom has his him looking wonderful.  He loves to dance and play with his soft wood and cardboard toys.  He’s still very shy and needs a lot of work, but with the progress he has made we think he has great potential.  He can say “hi” and “hi Squeakers” and seems to have a slight preference to males but does alright with women. He has been vetted and tested negative for Chlamydia, PBFD and Polyoma.
