Pending Adoption

Fred is a 2 year old Senegal Parrot. He is a little nippy at times, but he still needs to adjust to the change in his life. He loves his veggies and working on pellets since he was fed seed instead of pellets, but he is coming around. He loves to give kisses and wants to be where the action is. We say he since we were told male, but have no definitive proof. His vetting is pending

Kona is a female White Faced Cockatiel and about 10 years old. She came to us with Chirp, Sage and Piper but unfortunately we lost Sage and Piper. Kona is a very sweet girl and loves people. Her test results are negative and she will be looking for her forever home soon!

Cramer is a 20 year old Eclectus. He is a very sweet boy who loves to be a part of everything that is going on. He is very tame and lovable. Cramer eats very well, especially enjoying his fresh fruits and veggies. Cramer is currently undergoing treatment for breathing issues as he came from a home where they smoke. We believe he will fully recover with time. Disease testing is pending. Cramer will be available for adoption after the vet gives him a clean bill of health. Steven is a Congo African Grey in his twenties and Lusa is a Double-Yellow Headed Amazon in her late twenties. Both birds lived in the same home for the last ten years and they are bonded. Steven loves to talk, give kisses, and get stratches. Steven does not like men. Lusa is tolerant of both men and women but prefers women. Lusa loves showers, scratches, and to dance. These two would make the perfect addition to most families. Such incredible birds.

Buddy is a friendly Red Lored Amazon, age unknown, but we believe him to be older. Buddy does well with children and would love to spend all his time on your shoulder. He is eating pellets and chop and enjoys his treats. Buddy would make a wonderful companion and is ready for his special family to take him home. Buddy has been vetted and disease tested with negative disease results.

Huey, Dewey and Louie are three delightful and colorful parakeets. They are not tame, but are sure to add cheer and tons of cute songs, noises and chirps to your home. They enjoy each other’s company so we are adopting them all out together. If you are ready for some cheerful and fun little birds, this trio is for you. They have been to the vet and their disease testing came back clear. They will eat all the healthy fruits and veggies you can give them, as well as their pellets.

Available for Adoption

Sonny and Cher are a pair of bonded Derbyan parakeets. These two beautiful birds came to us in the huge surrender in August 2016 known as Operation Treasured Angels  They were adopted out, but unfortunately came back to us due to a change in living situation. They love to eat their chop and almonds. Green apples are a favorite too. This pair is not tame, but are extremely lively and so much fun to watch. They are looking for their forever home with someone who will enjoy them just as they are. Their test results were negative.

Adopted!!!

Allen and Jackson are a pair of parakeets, or otherwise known as budgies. They are very new to CWA, so we are still evaluating them. What we know so far is that they are not tame, (that can change). Parakeets make wonderful companions. Their cheerful chattering and wonderful energy are sure to brighten everyone’s day. Their ages and sex are unknown. They are being transitioned onto a pellet and chop diet. We are waiting on their test results and will post more information as we get it. Male parakeets can be wonderful talkers. These little guys do not need a huge space and can be ideal for a smaller home. And now Praxis! Praxis was quite lonely and has made fast friends with Allen and Jackson. So now there are three!  Sadly, Allen passed away. We are glad we had put Praxis with them so Jackson still has a friend.

Adopted!!!

This is Baby. He’s a 16 year old Umbrella Cockatoo. His foster mom says he is the sweetest, most non aggressive cockatoo she has ever had in her care.
